Power Synergy focuses on thermal power plants, hydro power plants and combined cycles. These are conventional power plants that produce electricity with coal, gas or sometimes oil as fuel source. We seek out aged/worn out facilities with poor efficiency or unsatisfactory performance due to outdated technologies, deprived maintenance or inadequate operation, or simply facilities that are approaching the end of their lifecycle. All of those would usually also have an increasingly negative impact on the environment due to pollution through carbon dioxide and other waste streams. Power Synergy resolves such issues by revitalization through retrofitting, modernization and/or reconstruction, resulting in increased installed capacity, improved efficiency, extension of the facility’s lifetime and reduction of carbon emissions per unit of electricity production. A team of highly specialized engineers and economists analyses the condition of the power plant and conducts a feasibility study to determine a justified scope of retrofit/modernization works and deployed technologies, often tailor-made, with a minimum guaranteed improved capacity/increased efficiency. Power Synergy also looks at project financing options to complement a full-package proposal, if needed and ensures smooth coordination between all parties involved in a project from the promotion of the project idea to the commissioning stage.
